UPDATES

DOH funding update:

  • DOH funding update: Chris Pettit provided an update on DOH funding. It appears that health may be able to fund 2.6 mil toward the water side of the project.
  • Paul and his Public Works engineers have also worked to trim off anything that they can from the project. Including GFC at the city rate.
  • CDBG is prepared to assist with some funding on this project; They will need something in writing from Health, stating exactly what they are going to offer, so CDBG can determine the exact dollar amount needed.

Ecology funding

  • Before the City of Sequim requests that the SRF application for the sewer portion of the dig-once project be transferred to them, they will need to know that all the funds have been secured for the waterside.

Other

  • Short-term ILA—The County and SCI are waiting to hear back from Ecology on what they require to be on the ILA regarding the ecology-funded project. There are no anticipated fees with the county.
