UPDATES
DOH funding update:
- DOH funding update: Chris Pettit provided an update on DOH funding. It appears that health may be able to fund 2.6 mil toward the water side of the project.
- Paul and his Public Works engineers have also worked to trim off anything that they can from the project. Including GFC at the city rate.
- CDBG is prepared to assist with some funding on this project; They will need something in writing from Health, stating exactly what they are going to offer, so CDBG can determine the exact dollar amount needed.
Ecology funding
- Before the City of Sequim requests that the SRF application for the sewer portion of the dig-once project be transferred to them, they will need to know that all the funds have been secured for the waterside.
Other
- Short-term ILA—The County and SCI are waiting to hear back from Ecology on what they require to be on the ILA regarding the ecology-funded project. There are no anticipated fees with the county.
- Annual membership meeting at the Shipley Center on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 1 pm , set up at noon.
Next Steps:
- Claire to email Tom a pic of an HDMI cable
- Amie to reach out to Ecology to ask what verbiage they need to see in an ILA
- Amie to call the Shipley Center to see if their AV can handle the HDMI cable
- Amie to bring the OWL and HDMI cord, set up a Zoom meeting, and plan to attend the annual membership meeting to run point on tech.
- Amie will follow up with Tom and Lisa-Ann on the Annual membership meeting and their needs, including who they want to attend, speak, set up, and whether they have a meeting agenda.
