Sewer Project
Ecology funding application was submitted and the funding cycle is closed. Staff are going through the screening process and will begin the ranking and rating process. A draft offer list will be published in mid-January.

County has a fully-executed MOU. Angie will send out the signed copy. Future discussions about forming an LID will be taking place while waiting for the Ecology offer list to be published.

DOH issued a Notice of Correction to Flaura’s. Dates can be modified as more is learned about project funding and timelines for construction.

Drinking Water
DOH offers grant funding for consolidation feasibility studies. This would be a logical next step towards consolidation with the City of Sequim. The City would need to apply for the grant, but SCI staff could write the application and assist with procurement of engineering services and grant management to avoid extra work for City staff. Cynthia will set up a time to discuss with Paul to get his input.
DOH also has grant funding for construction of improvements that will be necessary before the City will consider consolidation. The City must be invited to apply by DOH. Cynthia will contact DOH staff to see if there has been any discussion about approaching the City.

Next Steps
Procure an engineer through methods that meet state and federal standards. This will need to be done through the County, and does not need to happen immediately.
