Wastewater/Water
- County legal reviewing LID paperwork still. County administrator talking with city
manager about setting up a meeting to discuss further. LID would have better traction if
funding for water project is known. Would ULID by city be more appropriate? - Once a petition for annexation is received by council, there is a specific timeline that
needs to be followed, so important to careful time the submission. - HOA can be collecting information (signatures) from residents in advance of submitting
petition. - DWSR Application progress
- Application submitted to DOH. Cynthia will ask DOH about when feedback should be expected.
- City working on drafting an interlocal agreement between city and county. Send to Joe and Ron to
move forward. Defining roles and responsibilities – talking with city attorney about annexation
process.
Other
- City and County will meet internally about path forward for ownership of roads and future operation
and maintenance of them. - Tom will email the form they have to Paul to verify with city’s attorney that it complies with
annexation process. Lisa-Ann will mail letters out to all out-of-state homeowners. Need 10% to file
petition; 60% to annex.
