Wastewater
- LID Documents: Angi has drafted documentation and is having legal review them. She is waiting for further direction.
- Annexation: The two paths for annexation were discussed (County utilizing the Island Method or residents signing a petition requesting the annexation). Clallam County Attorney said that the preferred method is for the residents requesting annexation.
There have also been some additional discussions about the City of Sequim taking the lead on both projects, as they will ultimately provide long-term maintenance, billing, and ownership of the sewer and water infrastructure.
Water
- DWSR Application progress
- All the needed data has been collected, and the application has been completed. It is currently out for review internally. By the end of the week, it will
- go out to the external parties for review. Once reviewed, it is requested that they provide feedback that either it is acceptable or needs corrections/additions.
- A meeting is scheduled for April 9th with the city, county, and the three funding agencies to coordinate this work and funding efforts.
Other
Cynthia has received copies of the property deeds, which she will combine with copies of reports uploaded from the county’s website. Cynthia is checking with DOH to make sure that this will be acceptable.
Next Steps
- Lisa-Ann will contact the City of Sequim to find out what forms and requirements they have for annexation.
- Cynthia will send out the DOH Application to external parties by week’s end for review and comments. (The Goal is to submit the application to DOH by the 10th .)
- City, County, SCI, DOH, ECY, and CDBG will all meet next week to discuss and coordinate the funding and work schedule for this project.
