Sewer Project
- County had a meeting last week with Sequim to discuss roles and responsibilities. An MOU or interlocal agreement can further define each party’s participation in the projects.
- Road resurfacing could potentially be funded by Transportation Improvement Board (TIB). https://www.tib.wa.gov/
- Cynthia will schedule a meeting with Joe and Ron to answer questions about Ecology
funding. - Public Meeting
- Present information and underscore the need for the community to support a ULID.
- Lisa-Ann will draft presentation and send to Cynthia and Amie for review
- Draft presentation will be reviewed by group at next meeting on 2/19
- Manage expectations – even if the sewer project and water project are fully funded, there will be ancillary costs including resurfacing the road.
- The topic of annexation will likely come up and will need to be addressed by city staff.
- A special mailing will be sent out next Wednesday. The ULID survey and the fact sheet will be included.
- Add description of ULID and LIDs to fact sheet
- Add Tom’s phone number to survey
- A timeline for formation of a ULID should be available
- Kitsap County website has a process document
- A Zoom link will be created for out-of-town residents
