Heads up neighbors! On October 20 at 10:20 am, (10/20 at 10:20) there will be a statewide earthquake drill and tsunami siren test. This is a DRILL to practice how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On during a large earthquake, or simply take the time to discuss with your family or co-workers what to do if an earthquake would hit. Where will you go if you aren’t home? Are you prepared? What do you need to do to be prepared? You get the idea. And, if you live near a tsunami siren, the real siren will go off; not the usual nice Westminster Chime that happens on the monthly test.
